The Importance of Being Earnest
A Trivial Comedy for Serious People.
Professional Help Productions present the most celebrated play ever written about a handbag.
In the city, an earnest Jack is falling in love with the Honourable Miss Fairfax. In the country, a mischievous Algernon is wooing the romantic Miss Cardew. Is there more to these men than their Ernest exteriors? What to do? And how does the handbag fit in?
The unrivalled wit of Oscar Wilde is set within the gloriously hedonistic era of the Bright Young Things to create a deliciously decadent production. Perfect for the summer season.
